Weekend to-do list

Train Wrecks games this week:
Indoor: Friday @ 8 p.m. at the Bladium vs. PK Acetominophen
Outdoor: Sunday @ 5 p.m. at Gabe West vs. Marauders

Practice this week:
Saturday @ 2:30 p.m. at the Coast Guard fields

So apparently Atlantic fields may be available for practice. We'll check 'em out, but for now the plan is to meet up at the Coast Guard fields. If you're coming late to practice you may want to scope the Atlantic fields to see if practice has moved (if it hasn't, move on down to the Coast Guard fields).

Alrighty then, tally time! Use the comment section to indicate which events you will or will not participate in.

Hello all!
Just wanted to drop by and say hello to everyone. Santa Cruz is fantastic and I am having so much fun here.
I will not be able to make the game on Sunday because i will be back in college but I wish you all the best of luck!

I can't make practice, but will be at Sunday's game with a cooler full of beer, some chips and anticipation for Diego and Madelyn's long awaited Journey impersonation.

I will be at Friday's and Sunday's game, and probably at practice. If I don't show up at practice it will be because my son has a game of some sort.
Great job Trainwrecks on Sunday's victory! And thank you everyone who was able to hang out and join in Anna's send off. She really enjoyed it. ciao!

A question from a not-very-knowledgeable soccer person: I watched the video Marc attached about the "seal dribbling" and I don't understand why it might be illegal or why the other players are so pissed off. It's just another form of expert dribbling, right? help me understand . . . .

Game is here again oh Lord,
Haven't been home in a year or more
I hope she passes back a little longer
Sent a free kick on a long summer day
Made of leather, not of clay
I've been runnin' down this dusty field

[Chorus:]
Goalie in the sky keeps on turnin'
I don't know where I'll be tomorrow
Goalie in the sky keeps on turnin'

I've been trying to make it home
Got to make it before too long
I can't take this very much longer
I'm stranded in the six yard box
Don't think I'm ever gonna make it home again
The mornin' sun is risin'
It's kissing the day

[Chorus]

Goalie in the sky keeps on turnin'
I don't know where I'll be tomorrow
Goalie in the sky keeps on turnin'
