It was mud-gate 2007 on the ol' pitch. If one was sliding one way, they'd be sliding the other the very next moment in their attempt to latch on to the spinning ball. Not to mention there was a capable opponent on the field trying to do the exact same.
And despite all this, the Train Wrecks still managed to come out on top, 4-1. Two mud bricks to the back of the net by Brad, and two by the "loco"motive known more commonly as Gustavo. Meanwhile, Steve managed the nets, as his foot was deemed too lethal in field.
He dove left.
He dove right.
And all but one ball were stopped for the night.
So where does this leave the Train Wrecks with one game remaining to play in the season. Well it leaves on top of the table by one point because the Unicorns lost their match vs. the Galacticos.
Job well done Train Wrecks.
